My T9 doesn't work w/ my messaging anymore! All of a sudden, when I choose T9 option the phone will Freeze and I have to take the battery off to reboot the phone back to functional. I don't have the current firmware upgrade cause I was having any problems now I do have a problem should I try the upgrade or will it be useless??

well don't worry ur phone is under warranty and that kind of defect/malfunction is definitely covered by warranty.
