No one seems to be talking about *why* the LG 325 has DUN, which apparently works for internet access from the posts in the General Forum.
Since the 325 has the DUN profile enabled and is a fully-supported phone (unlike the T608 which was always sort of a "hidden" phone), what is SprintPCS's stance on using DUN with a pda/laptop? As it's technically against the TOS to use a phone as an internet connection, why sell a phone with the ability to do it? Anyone know if SPCS's policy has changed? Or will DUN users still have to hope they stay "under the radar" with Vision usages on laptop/pda?

Well, the more interesting case is with the Treo650 that they did a 180 on and enabled DUN after promising that it would not be enabled. Perhaps a tethered phone data plan is in the works, or they just decided they'd rather deal with people chewing up a little bandwidth than complaining about why their bluetooth phone only actually does 1 of the many bluetooth functions (missing OBEX as it is.)

so ur saying DUN is enabled on here without using shadowmite's patch (posted on treocentral)? When i go to my bluetooth manager on the treo 650 (i DON't have that patch installed) i don't see anything for Dial-up networking.
or maybe you mean it will be enabled after the software update comes out that's supposedly in the works...

Yeah, I think that's what I meant. I read a snippet of a press release about it, but I wasn't paying too much attention to it because I'm not interested in combo devices. Thanks for clarifying.
