I just bought the A700 last month and at first I was amazed at all the features. The problem is my reception sucks. I have four bars of reception at all times almost, but the incoming voice is choppy as hell. I don't know what is causing it and was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. Like I said, full reception, but incoming voice is choppy and I miss parts of words or sentences?? Help! :)

From what I've been reading around here that is a known problem.

This is not a signal quality problem.... it is due to the "noise reduction" problem in the phone. There are ALOT of threads on this issue... do a search...

Yes there are ALOT of threads on this problem and guess what, not a single one has a working solution. So thats why I am asking again.

That is because there is no solution. The only solution is to have both parties with no background noise. Now lets please close this thread.

Thank you.

mdhuber25, There is no fix. Not just because I cant but because there is no update. Why would you say something so dumb?

No, not each one individually. I mean, they are with a diagnostics tool but there is not someone who places a test call for every phone. That would virtually be impossible and cost way too much to achieve.
