I think you should keep them spelled out. It makes me think thats what I'm doing when I write it. I'm sure others will disagree. :) But its your forum!

If most other forums actually have it spelled out, I could change it. I just used the abbreviations because they are quicker to type out... :) Shall we see what others think?

Yeah I'll wait for the masses to respond.

On another forum its: : thumbsup : : thumbsdow (without the spaces)

I think the thumbsdown is spelled thumbsdow cause of lack of space or something (who knows). I haven't checked for this specific one on too many others though.
