View Full Version : 7400 not alerting me of txts from AOL?

Maybe this has been the case the whole time & im just realizing it now, but my phone is not alerting me when i receive txts from AOL. If im on AIM through my phone & someone txts me, the associated ringer will go off. Same if i get a txt from another phone. The front screen lights up with a msg & the red light blinks..Thats the only way i can tell i got a msg from someone on AOL. :huh:

Anybody know the reason for this?

P.S. Also, when not connected to AIM is there a way to send a txt msg back to someone on AOL from my phone? I tried but it gets sent to their email instead of their screen name & i have to edit the address cause the txts come in saying "AOL@AOL.com". Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind guys..My sillyass turned off the alerts for messaging. lol
But im still curious about the AOL question. Any way to txt someone on AOL w/out going through AIM?
