why doesnt my text messaging work?!

i just switched my plan to now include vision with the unlimited text messaging, but for some reason i cant recieve texts from other phones that have different carriers: ive talked to others who have said they have never recieved my texts either. wierd thing is that i can recieve and send to sprint phones.....whats going on?!

i have the VMA680.

try putting in the area code, my mom (ya has 680 could not send them to even my phone w/o the area code

thx for the suggestion but it doesnt help i still cant send them and im pretty upset....i went to my local sprint store and they couldnt help....they said something bout email instead of text messaging but its to complicated....im soooo frustrated.... :confused:

I've been having problems with my text messaging the last 2 days too. Sprint opened a trouble ticket.
