sanyo needs to come out with another 6000 series phone. i'd be all over that. in fact, i'd love to go back to a 6400. although i heard that it had the worst reception of any of the sanyos. maybe a 6200 would be better. if i could find one that had never been used. such cool phones, those 6000s.

well, technically it could be used on the US for cingular or TMobile. you must mean a CDMA version.

Sorry...I just wanted to point it out that most Sanyo and Samsung phones are flips, but they are now going in *other* directions ;)

so true. though i like the design of the LG and Samsung slips over the sanyo. i would put the chances on a sanyo slider coming to sprint at 1000 to 1.

american cdma carriers seem to be followers (putting phones out that are popular wih the masses) rather than put out innovative designs.

It can open by the will of the user. It is a Samsung. It can do anything.

It was innovative...swiveling display...what else more do you want...?

i want more than a swivel tacked onto a flip. no one is putting down the swivel, the swivel is cool. but it's not *that* different to set it apart from the rest of Sprint's lineup.

it's still just a silver flip from Sprint.

Dude, when Sprint got it, it was JUST catching on in Korea as well...not somehting you regularly see....

I don't know what your definition of an "innovative design" is, but if a swiveling flip and camera isn't enough, what makes the Motorola V3 so special...?

i seperate innovative design from innovative feature. when i say "design",i think of an architect, industrial designer, etc. so yes, the razr is new design that we haven't seen yet. the SE's are new and different. the sliders are somewhat new.

i'm just criticizing Sprint's affinity for following the U.S. palate of providing virtually only flips. and thus, your samsung swivel cam is still only a flip to me. it's a really cool "feature" but not a cool "design"

But the V3 razr is something that we have seen..It's just a thin camera phone...wow, Samsung had a really small S307...

The A600 was truely something that no one had ever come to see before...

you completely miss my point, which could be my fault, but i don't think it is.

You call the V3's design revolutionary...? How...? If that is labeld revolutionary because it looks cool, why isn't the Samsung P735 or 300/307...?

The A600 was something that no other phone could come close to (design wise)...hell, up to this day, Samsung is still the only manufactuter to have a phone like it...

i don't claim revolutionary, i claim unique and different. big difference. and until now we were discussing your a600 claim. you know how i feel about that. the p735 is what i would deem as unique design.

all i'm saying, ugh, is sprint phones are virtually devoid of unique design. they may have some unique features, but not OVERALL design.
