D`amn you are all fast to notice things! I got this feature working this afternoon as a suggestion from Jaggrey. It is built into the forum's software and I enabled it.

Why would you want to refer to it? Well let's say in a thread you want to comment on a previous post. Now you can refer to it:

Examples:
"According to Enmulout's message in post #2, he said..."

Or you can click the number to pop the single post into a new window. Then you can provide the link to users who may be looking for a specific message. This is a great way to help them.

I am sure there are other ways to take advantage of this, post them here if you'd like.
