I've tried to use the PureVoice but I'm having trouble. I got the song into the correct .wav format (PCM 8.000 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono) but when typing it into the command window it doesn't work. I have the PureVoice in my C:\ and my .wav file is in the C:\ also titled "journey" but then i get stuck
I get into the PureVoice directory
C:\PureVoice
then I type in
"PVconv C:\journey.wav"
I tried with and without a space after the PVconv but nothing seems to work. If someone could help me that would be great.

Just drag the wav file over the PVconv file in the purevoice directory.

there is no PVconv file in the directory. I look in the folder and run "dir" in the command prompt but it isn't there. If I try to run PVconv i get the message
'PVconv' is not regcognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
I'm not really familiar with using command prompt but I thought I could have run this simple program. help!?!
Just drag the wav file over the PVconv file in the purevoice directory.

I managed to get the program to run and so now I've got my .qcp file. How can I send this to my phone? I have the audiovox 8910 phone and my carrier is verizon. The verizon website has a way to send files to my phone but it only supports MIDI audio files. Any one have any suggestions?

I assume you would be using sprint since this is sprint users...Verizon users use www.d-d-n.com to get voice tones to their phones...Verizon phones dont support .qcp files. Or you might want to go to Verizon users forum and get the answers there.
SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more. The most popular section is the message board where visitors can read and write messages, ask questions, and get advice about their cellular phone from other users.
