anyone else notice that the ringer volume on the a680 isnt that high even on the highest setting? is there any way to make the ringer louder?

also, is there any way to preserve battery life? i reckon setting the backlight and not using vision that much will make the battery last a lot longer.

It does have a power save mode which dims the screen backlight and turns off the keypad.
The ringer speaker sucks on the A680..... it's loud if you play MIDIs, but forget about hearing QCPs on it. I'm also about to get a 3rd A680 cuz the 1st two that i've had both had blown out ringer speakers.

That is weird people having issues with Sanyo and Samsungs now a days. Either the speaker sounds crappy or the speaker blows out. Can't win either way it seems?
