Well not just startup but shutdown too. How long can the file be before it cuts off? I wanted to use THX and i did, but it cuts it off before it ends. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

My 8200 does this too... I don't know how long before the cutoff though... got a stopwatch? :hee:

lol. well.. my ear to hand coordination aint so goog. haha. this will be an interesting thing for people to try and find out. :D

i dont know.. but I know that the start up sound is longer in seconds than the shut down sound. Also, if you use a MIDI polyphone ringer, it will play in low volume.

If you play a QCP voice tone ringer to start up...it will play in higher volume, versus the lower volume.

... I'm going to guess ...

the startup sound is approx. 10 seconds.
the shutdown sound is approx. 5 seconds.
