im so mad. i mean for me, i can still get ringers to my phone with a methond someone showed me. so technically i can get free ringers even off pay sites, but now that my friends know about that site, they cant get any, i fell bad for them, damn t-mobile and att suck for internet access. anyone know of any att or t-mobile free ringer sites?

i believe the reason is because you cannot legally run a free ringtone site, as I posted in a thread below this "what happened to ddn?", ringtone sites can get sued for a lot of money if they do not account for royalties and pay the copyright owners:

ya i saw ur thread about ddn, but it didnt think it applied to ALL ringtone sites. but thanks for the info.

Its not that easy to run a site, and all those "3gforfree" and **** will be shut down sooner or later because of expenses...then again, $2 a month is nothing compared to $2 a ringer.

So if I'm running a ringtone website then should I wait and see if someone says something to me.. If they say something then I will pay but if Im just gonna get sued without warning then I will start payin now!

might want to check with your attorney, but probably waiting "until someone says something to you" is a bad idea, because at that point they are not going to be looking to just get you to pay.
