Just ordered my 650 from Sprint telesales

It will be here tomorrow am. The salesperson asked first if I was an existing customer, to which I replies yes....then she asked if I was adding a new line, to which I said no...just replacing my 600. She said "ok..then you can order it, currently its only available for existing customers".

If it does arrive tomorrow...I'll cancel my palmone order (if it hasnt shipped).

Ouch...that's over $1000 in phones in less than a week.

I ordered it too! The guy said I would have it tomorrow, I am not overly hopeful. Palm One says they doubt that Sprint is shipping them. We will see who is telling the truth. I need a Treo for my wife too! I already have an extra charger for travel, vehicle adaptor and a battery. All off of ebay at a much cheaper price. Let' hope we get the phones tomorrow. The only thing about Palm is no sales tax and free shipping plus the bluetooth headset. I have already ordered a another BT headset for $50.00 that is suppose to be good outside when you have wind conditions. Yes a 1000 bucks in a week does hurt. I ordered the Palm Treo 650 last Monday and the Sprint Treo 650 today! (11-17-04)

I tried to have a treo 650 billed to my acct today which has no spending, telesales said no. That I would have to add a line for them to ship the phone out. All I wanted to do is keep my existing #, whats that all about. Also I was wondering if anyone knows when the store will have the Treo 650 in stock.

Sprint charged my credit card but no tracking number so probably not 650 today. Maybe tomorrow!


Hope you can resovle that, can again and speak to another sales rep; if you get the same answer, talk to the supervisor!! Good Luck

At one time you could charge a phone to your account...now you can only do that via telesales if it is a new activation...I know it sucks...I wanted to order the 7400 but I dont want to use a credit card...I want to pay for it a month later....lol Im honest

As of 9:00PM EST they still have units.

They will give existing Sprint Users a $150.00 rebate ONLY if you have had your existing handset for more than 18 months. If you ***** and fall within 6 months of the 18 month requirement, they will give you $75 off.

If you have a personel account with two lines, DO NOT call telesales, call the normal sales dept, they are the only ones who can cancel one of the phones for the 650.. Telesales said I can only do it through a phone center... That is incorrect! + who knows if they will honor the rebate by the time it hits the phone centers.

aaahhh, After all the struggle I went through today to eventually save the $75.00 - I decided not to get the phone and spoke with a supervisor to B1atch at the fact that I have been a loyal customer since 1997 and they will not give me the rebate because I have had my VM5500 for only 12 months. I said what about the Sony in 97, the Moto in 99 the Samsung in 00 the Sanyo in 01, 02, 03 - geeeezzzz Because I like the new stuff I get penalised? That sucks!

I guess I'll wait for it to hit Best Buy for 499.99 and use my Best Buy Points to buy it. Freakin Red Tape!

I'm so jealous of you all! I just don't want to get the Treo 650 until Sprint actually makes the DUN profile update available and I decide the Vision rates are good. I don't trust Sprint enough.

Well it did not come on Thursday but it is supposed to be here tomorrow! NO Tracking Number but when I call on my order it shows as shipped.

I was wrong on my order from Palm One, they only shipped out my screen protectors and no phone yet? Oh well I should have the Treo to Play with tomorrow. I am impressed by the pictures; a lot better than my T-600
