I downloaded the WebViewer browser after searching this forum (thanks!). It's much faster than the Sprint browser, but it does seem to have some quirks which I'd like to know more about before I buy another potentially useless app to add to my slag heap. Here are my questions:
The Ok button on the Samsung doesn't appear to trigger the default Ok or Go control on the web page. Instead, I have to hit the Menu soft button on the phone, then the Ok menu option, which can be number 4, 5, or 6 depending on the menu. For example, when entering a URL, I have to hit the Menu button and then option 6 instead of just pressing Ok. This can't be right...what am I doing wrong?
Is there a way to control the font size in the WebViewer browser? The resolution on the A700 is so good I'd like to make the fonts and pics smaller.
To run WebViewer, I have to go into the Downloads menu, then Applications, then select WebViewer. Is there a way to make WebViewer the default browser on the phone so I can just hit the soft key to launch it?
Can somebody recommend a good portal with sites that work particularly well with WebViewer? I can always make my own with HTML links, but if anyone's got a good one that would be great...
Thanks for the help...
