I am trying to figure out how to load java applications to my Nokia 6016i phone. I also have the 6016i and a Nokia DKU-5 data cable (a genuine one) that I am trying to use with the Nokia PC Suite software. I am able to upload ringers (in .MID format), phonebook entries and wallpaper images.

I can not get the Application transfer to work to install .jar files. I always get the error that the file is too big even though the .jar is less than 20k and I have 150k free in the phone.

Is there something that Sprint has done to prevent us from installing java apps on this phone?
