I cant connect to the specified port with BitPim. I checked Device Manager and it says that my Sanyo USB phone is connected to com3 but BitPim doesnt detec t it. Bitpim has autofind port and com1 listed only. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a Sanyo 5500 btw. Thanks for your time.

I had a similar problem. It said my port was unavailable. After playing around, I shut down the Sprint Contact manager from my system tray. Evidently it had the port tied up and wouldn't let Bitpim use it. Then everything worked fine for me. Good luck.
