Ok, I ordered my phone this morning as a replacement for my current one. When I call eight hours later to check on the order status, no one in any dept has any idea that I placed any order and my card has not been charged yet. So I ended up having to add a line to my existing acct just to get this phone because they said any other way is generating an error message. So now I will have to cancel this new line when the phone comes and put the phone on my existing #. Does anybody think I will have a hard time canceling this add a line after the phone comes and moving the phone to my current line??
Thanks
Philip

I'm also having problems. I ordered last night, but no one can tell me my order number, but they do show that my card was charged. They told me that if I don't get it tomorrow then call back and check again.

Well, they knew my order number but STILL haven't been able to give me a tracking number.
People must rip them off constantly....claiming that they never received their package. How can you not know the tracking number?

yes, if you cancel the second line you will pay $150 ETF... also if you cancel it before receiveing your rebate you won't get the rebate.

It'a amazing how uninformed some Sprint reps are. I almost pulled the trigger on ordering the 6601 on Wednesday but didn't. I called back Thursday (after my wife said ok) and went through three reps before I could find someone who knew this thing was available. Luckily for me, I got a UPS tracking number and it'll be delivered today.

I called up sprint to check the status of my order and they could not locate the UPS # as well..
For all the folks who went through this: Did you end up recieving the phone even though Sprint could not locate the tracking # ?

When I sold my Treo 600 the 650 or the 660x had not been released yet....so in order to keep my number and account (which I have had for 8 years) open, I needed another ESN. So I went down to the sprint store and they have a box of donated phones from customers to help those in need. I just had them add one of those ESN numbers to my account. Then I could take the 600 off and wait for the other one.
But here is my experience when trying to order a replacement 660x when my screen cracked:
First of all, It took two weeks to get authorization to replace the phone through warranty instead of insurance. They placed my replacement phone order on the 9th of Dec...sent the return kit but lost the phone order. My Sprint National Sales Manager contact then placed a second a replacement order for me on the 18th of Dec.....they lost that order too. But then they found my original order that now had 3 Samsung VG-1000 phones waiting to process!!!!! That is a joke of phone compared to the PPC-6601 (but nice just as stand alone phone). After contacting the National Sprint Manager again he directed me to cancel all orders, place a new order, and he was passing my case up for high visibility at Sprint Corp due to all the errors in taking 15 days to process a 3 day processing order by losing two orders, including the one he personally placed in my behalf. On Dec 22th I called and placed a new order. On Dec 24th I called and confirmed it has shipped but no tracking number available.
Then on Dec 27th I got a call from the processing saying they have not shipped it, but need a CC payment to cover the phone until I return the old one. I explained the situation and asked if I can get the 6600 in instead because of nearly a month getting this resolved. She put me on hold....found a phone...and ordered it for me for no extra charge. The only catch is that is backordered and will be shipping on Jan 25th.
Since I now have the BT mouse for my 6601 the cracked screen is not a big issue anymore, so it is worth the wait!

If you cancel within 14 days of getting that 2nd line added to your account you wont have to pay the $150ETF.

I would just go to the sprint store and buy the 6600. Then call the activation line. You get it immediatly and no shipping BS.
