The Sprint Store on Baranca Pkwy in Irvine just got four in late this evening. I went their after work and got mine...I will post pictures tomorrow morning. 1st impression---the screen is incredible...when looking at a picture, it looks like you are actually looking at the real thing instead of a photo. More updates soon. I bought one right before they closed, so they should still have them tomorrow morning. I'm posting this from my treo right now.

Actually, Palm will release 650s through their Viennachannels for those that attended the Treo Road Show and who ordered through their webesite directly. The first shipments are scheduled to start on Nov. 12th. That's the official word from Palm. I attended the Road Show in Chicago (11/9)...received a coupon to purchase a Treo 650 for $349. Best deal outside Sprint, SPrint will be the only carrier selling them until Jan 05 . Cingular will follow.

I know the Sprint store he's talking about, so I can verify. I'll try to stop by after work today. I'm not interested in grabbing one, though, b/c I've already ordered through ViennaChannels, and I don't mind waiting. I guess I can call too, but sometimes the store reps don't know diddly. I tried calling that store about 10 times this morning....they absolutely IGNORE their incoming phone calls (not just this morning, all the time)....what customer service!!!! :furious:

Isn't that the policy at all Sprint stores? I don't think I've ever gotten though when I call, regardless the time of day.

Well, I called them, and got a live person. He said the store doesn't have 650's in stock, never did. He doesn't expect them to carry the phone until 1 month after Sprint makes them available. Whether he's just giving me the brush-off, I don't know, and at this point, I don't care. I'll just take his word for it and not bother coming to the store. Sorry to anyone who was hoping I would.

The 650's DUN (?) bluetooth works on Sprint... Had it connected via bluetooth, speeds seemed like DSL.
