;) I know I asked this before but I went to my sprint pcs store last night and asked if they discontinued the 5225, and the lady there (after asking a few times) said they do not plan to discontinue it and it is one of their bigger sellers. I am not sure the validity in this but I was looking for feedback on it. I dont mind the phone, it works for me but if they are going to get rid of it then I still have 5 more days to get a new and different phone....I found my wife's samsung el cheapo, has the same attachments for like car charger and home charger which is cool.....just curious if they are actually going to get rid of my phone or not.- Thanks!

All phones get discontinued eventually. There is an EOL for it, but I don't remember what the day/month is...

Thanks for the lingo. i am having a darn time trying to get my vision hooked up for it. I know I only have it for 2 months but...I did use the direct (red) line or whatever but they couldnt do much.........and the people in the store......blah..they are 2 brain cells from being mentally disabled. At least at my store. But thanks for the EOL thing....I think i will hold on to my little vi5225 and cherish it.....lol

How much will you have towards a different phone? Thats the decision-maker IMO.

I paid 50 bucks for the vi5225, and I cant really get a camera phone because I teach middle school PE...(the whole locker room thing...lol)...anyways...If I can get vision fixed I might just keep my vi5225...that little rascal :)

By the way, does anyone know how to make it stay on vibrate, as a ringtone?

Thanks

All phones get hot after long use... my 8200 right now is so freaking unbearable, that I had to put on a headset :o I've been on the phone for an hour and a half helping a friend of mine...she's depressed.

However, you're right. The 5225 is ripe for frying chicken!!!! :hee:
