i have a Sanyo 8200 and a Mac 10.3.6 and the data cable and bitpim .7.2. i can get all the info from the phone no problem, but I can't send any of the converted .qcp file changes or additions to the phone. it locks the phone up in pc sync and the phone just stays like that and won't reboot. anyone have any ideas? thanks!

You are dealing with a lot of iffy situations here.
Sanyo 8200 that is your only good factor.
Mac 10.3.6 - Mac is supported but not nearly as well as PC
bitpim .7.2. Bitpim was originally written for PC and Mac is supported but not as well as PC
.qcp files most people dont even know what they are and there is little support out there
PC Sync Mac only I believe. It is hard to make it work with all the above programs.
I hope the best for you but this is analogues to trying to make your Japanese car run with parts made in the U.S. with fuel made from cow poop. It may work but not very well if even at all.

what sound files does the 8200 read if the .qcp files are interesting? I have been taking songs and converting them with the Mac version of the qcp converter from qualcomm and uploading them to my phone...albeit crappy quality, but it works. are there other free converters that will work with the 8200? thx.

I am trying to avoid using vision. I am going to get rid of it as soon as it isn't free and wanted a way to keep all the info, edit it, add to it, etc. without having to use the focus tool or your tool. Any other suggestions?
