I will be coming up on my 1 year with Sprint. I know they have the 18 month upgrade to get a new phone (I think it is $150 upgrade). First of all, at $600 for the Treo 650, I can't see my way through in paying that again for a new version of the phone. There should be a discount for current users of the Treo 600. I would definately like the Bluetooth option (not available on the 600) and the better screen but for $600, it is not worth it. I'm not sure if Palm/Sprint want just to attact new users or keep the current users and attract new ones as well but with no upgrade pricing for current users, it looks to me that they want only new users. I love the Treo 600. I have had very few problems with this phone since I bought it about 1 year ago. I have had a lot of problems with other phones and carriers (mostly dropped calls with full signal strength). I have had very few dropped calls with Sprint (And I travel in many states). All I am asking for is some kind of upgrade promotion for current Treo users. If not, no big deal. I will just continue to use my treo 600 until the battery dies. Thanks for listening to me rant about the new Treo 650.

Handsprint used to offer upgrade programs, but now that's it's P1, they're not.

Palmone is offering an upgrade. $449.00 plus a bluetooth headset. Still pretty pricey to me, but...

Keep in mind the $449 is for a new activation. The upgrade price without a new line is $599. Ouch! At least you don't have to a buy a BT headset if you want one...

Yeah, that's not exactly an upgrade program. That's more of an upgrade insentive.

Why would they offer an upgrade program? You did choose your phone right? No one forced you to pick your treo 600. I would suggest you sell it, and put the rest towards the phone.

Yes, I believe you keep your current treo600, and can seel it or whatever, but you are given an incentive to upgrade. They would do it because if you are geek enough to buy a treo600 then you are geek enough to upgrade to the 650. They do it so they can sell phones

like any other business in america....if honda comes out with a 2006 civic that i really like, i wont get a huge discount to "upgrade" to it...rather i would get a "trade-in" price...hell, you can trade in your treo600 for $75 if you want...I think...gotta check tomorrow @ work

Found out if you order it through Treocentral.com you'll get the bluetrek G2 headset instead of the Jabra.

Palmone is offering the jabra bt250 if you upgrade through them. . . best part is that they will take a serial from any palm device, not just the 600.
