4500 vs 7400?

I am looking to get a new phone and was thinking the 7400 when it comes out. Now which will be better, the 7400 or the 4500 and why? I like the 4500 myself, but am always for something different. Does the 7400 have a flash with its camera? Also, does it have a full or half duplex speaker phone? Just looking for the pluses and minuses. Thanks.

I want walkie talkie. Now with the RL, I hear everyone complain about the speaker phones on the Sanyos. Can you use RL in a private mode, like nextel? Would be pretty pointless to have DC if you can't understand anyone because of a ****ty speakerphone. Oh and what are the additional features of the 7400 over the 4500, if anyone knows?

Also this will have given Sprint/Sanyo time to work out the bugs in the 7400 and the price will probably have lowered on the 5500 and the 7400 due to the 5600's release. But you can never go wrong with a 5500 :D

The speakerphones aren't crappy on Sanyo products; they're half-duplex. When you're using ReadyLink, though, only one person can talk at a time, so it's a non-issue. They're just as clear as the Nextel's that are out there, though.

Also, you can switch to a private mode so that you're using the earpiece instead of the speakerphone...it's a setting under the ReadyLink options on every Sanyo phone out there.

Not sure about the flash. But I know it will have multimedia capabilites. Purchase a 5500 and return it in two weeks if you don't like it, maybe the 7400 will even be out by then. :)

lol, some people on this board are like that! they criticize every new phone out and that's gonna be out in the next year but when you check to see what phone THEY have it's usually no better than an 8100!
