Sanyo 5500 screen

Deval, or anyone else, I was wondering how much the LCD screen costs for the 5500. The inner screen is busted and the outer one seemed to go when the outer screen went, it's just blank. Radio Shack said $80 I was wondering did anyoine else have some prices. :)

to make a branch off of the screen question. i have a question about the scree. why can you see little black lines between the pixels on this screen? on the darker colors its less apparent but on white and light colors its pretty apparent. thanks. sorry about not answering your question rlm22b

Don't worry about it. I miss the little black lines on my screen. Now all I have are black blots. :o I believe it had to do with the pixels though.

hmm. well i tried searchin for some replacement lcds but i could not find any. sorry

about the black lines, i didnt think they were going to be apparent. http://www.sanyo.com/wireless/dealer_images/5500/5500openLft.jpg . i mean i no thats probably a comp generated image of the screen but on the outside screen; http://www.sanyo.com/wireless/dealer_images/5500/5500clsR.jpg ; the lines arent apparent. and it shouws like, the actualt outside screen.

Yeah i believe LCD replacement is $50 last time I talked to my local techs.
