Note: Thanks to Jer1's help this morning in removing Oprah's ghost from our server.
What is the deal with this message at the top of the page? I have seen this once or twice before on SU.

Oprah's ghost was screwing around with the server late last night and this morning. Jer1 helped me fix everything.

you must have been in withdrawal... lol... there was a day last week (i can't remember if it was thurs or fri) that i was totally busy doing something else at work and i didn't get on all day... i started to get the shakes. LOL!

We had a couple of short interruptions early in the morning but everything was resolved by 9am PST.

weird...the site was trying to make me download a file or something. i'll clear my cache and stuff and see what happens

That's precisely a cache issue. This happened to me and once the cache was cleared, all was well.

Only the users who tried to access the site while the "weirdness" occured may be experiencing any issues. I'll say it again though -- clearing your cache/history and cookies should fix the issue.
