Well I'm back. :) I recently switched over to ATT for the smt5600 which by the way is a freakin AMAZING phone. It is the size of a Nokia 6200 but it runs on Windows Mobile 03, bluetooth, smartphone, Mp3 player, camera (still/video) and much more. Unfortunately ATT's service sucks! It doesn't even come close to Sprints!
I'm wondering is there anything in the mix for Sprint and a smartphone? I'm not looking for a PDA phone like a Treo...I'm looking for a small smartphone. I know there is the i700 but honestly that thing has been around on Verizon for over a year. Plus, it doesn't seem like that many people like it. :eyeroll:
SPRINT WHERE ARE THE SMARTPHONES!!!!!!
Thanks!

Well I'm back. :)
SPRINT WHERE ARE THE SMARTPHONES!!!!!!
Welcome back, I too hated AT&T Wireless ever since they tried to build a GSM network.
Word on the street (SPCS Info.com and few others) say that the SMT-5500 (the CDMA brother to the SMT-5600) might be showing up around late Q1 or Q2 next year. SMT-5500 (http://www.coolsmartphone.com/images/stories/stand3.jpg) We'll see. I have heard really good things about the i600 though it has no camera and is WAY too expensive for what it provides.
Good luck.

You might wanna try "The New Cingular"
With AT&T and Cingulars combined coverage, they'll also have phones like the MPx220 and SMT5600. Try Cingular in a few weeks.

It was a short adventure! :D
I really think cdma is a superior network. I have never had issues with dropped calls with Sprint. Maybe in my 2 years of service 10 max. In my 2-weeks of ATT service I had tons. The sad part is ATT has both the ATT and Cingular networks due to the merger.
I really hope Sprint steps up to the plate. I'm not sure how they push their business solutions and they don't offer bluetooth??? :eyeroll:
I would be very excited if that smt-5500 comes to Sprint.

SMT 5600 is the standard that Sprint should try to get to

I definately agree. I think it should be the standard for every phone carrier. The phone is such a no brainer...what business person doesn't want a phone that will integrate with Outlook. I live by that program! :D

Based on size, quality, and pretty much 80% of the regularly used feature set of a Treo, the Audiovox is awesome. I'd even pay more for the unlimited AT&T data usage, but when I got the phone, I realized that AT&T coverage sucked. Dropped calls, missed messages, etc.....damn shame.
I'll never leave sprint for JUST a phone, but if coverage improves, the Audiovox may be the phone to leave for
