I've got my LG5350 connected to my new laptop, I've installed the drivers from FutureDial and setup my dial up connection to hit #777, the phone appears to connect (Display goes to Calling 3G 1x Data then changes to Sprint: [time] 3G1x Data and shows RX/TX bars....
The computer on the other hand says Dialing and then drops with an error 678, shortly after the phone returns to it's normal screen...
My PCS Vision is functional and tested.
The software version is 21...
Any suggestions/ideas/help?
Thanks,
Will

Like Fesic said... Go back to the begining...
So I did.
The short version: My password was NOT updated properly after getting my new phone from Lockline.
The long version: I went back and tried the web on my phone again, I could access all the toys on Sprints website, but when I tried http://www.sprintusers.com/wap it timed out, I hit OK which wasn't a prompt on the screen it asked for a new password, having forgotten it, I reset it on the sprint website from my PC, let my phone update, and bippity bam, I can now connect.
In fact, I'm posting this from my phone, VPN'd into my work network...
Of course I'm about to disconnect after i'm done testing!

So the moral of the story:
Make sure Web (not Sprints pages!!) works on your phone first... otherwise it doesn't matter how you try, it is going to give you error 678.

Make sure you can launch the browser from the phone first. If you can do that then check to see that the speed on the phone itself is set to 115,200.
Lastly make sure you are using the correct driver.
