From what I heard the map is HUGE! LA, Vegas and San Francisco combine together to make "San Andreas". With the variety of neighborhoods and people in these three cities, the possibilities for missions is endless.

Got it this morning. Just been tooling around on the bicycle trying not to get fat. lol. So far so cool. I have III, and Vice City but this one is so much bigger. I am sure I won't beat it as fast as the rest. Not to mention Halo 2 is right around the corner.

ANYWAYS, yeah this game'll b endless! I heard it takes bout 30 minutes to get from the end of one city to the next...plus u can now swim,plus 2player missions, so imagine how long it'll b??

My wife was cool enough to wait in line to get it Monday night for 2 hours. And that was with a damn prebuy... So far I'm liking it but (and I know now everyone agrees) I'm not too fond of the new addons like having to eat healthy to stay skinny etc. The changing of clothes is ok, but roots man, stick to your roots. Overall though, it is still a kickass game in the GTA series.

It is definetly gonna take a long time to beat it. Its funny to me how you can work out and get bigger. But it is definetly not for young kids. I really didn't see how Vice-City upset people, but I am predicting the outrage right now for this one.

I have only played the first edition of GTA, but I have friends that have the latest version and they love it.

Most of the them say it plays really great.

I'm sure there will be a PS 2 around the corner this year for my household.

There has been alot of buzz in the media about this game. Not the bad kind, I think they got over that when III and Vice City came out, they are focusing on how they expect to sell well over 34 million units in the 1st few weeks. It's good to be Rockstar I guess. Anyway I picked up the game on Tuesday morning and have stopped playing only to go to work. The wife loves it.

I heard that there are two new types of secret packages in this game. When you swim, collect oysters - those are secret packages and also look for horseshoes. Although no one seems to know exactly what the horseshoes are for yet.

I also heard that you have to spray paint gang stuff on nearly every city building to help you get to that 100% completetion.

Another thing I heard was that its possible to play TWO players with this game!! Its only rampage missions, but hey, it could be fun.

The map is absolutely massive. I think one of the white cops has a famous voice to, but I couldn't tell which one. I think I know, but not sure.

I got bored and I tried to go to the other cities. Well, like I figured, it wouldn't let you. So I tried this new feature that lets you swim. So I swam over to the other shore. And soon as I made it to land, four stars came right up. I made it all the way from the right side of the map to the top left side of the map before they finally got me dead.

If you do, don't get the new model. Its top-loading and won't have the ability to run HD off of it. Wait for it to come to the PC. Will be out for it early 05.

That doesn't matter. The only game to support HD is FFXI.

The game is a blast. 2-player is awesome, one character can drive while the other shoots.

Yeah I heard about the 2-player stuff. Some of the rampage missions seem like they'd be better with two people even in Vice City.

The shells I've seen, but I've not been able to find even one of the horseshoes yet. I'm just starting out, and the first city's huge, but I can usually find a couple by now. Anyone know of an obvious spot for one of them? I'd at least like to see what they look like. Thanks.

I personally don't know any details but they might be in stores or in the backwoods that you can't get to yet.

I bought the damn guide to it, its huge. This game had to take alot of people working on it for the serious detail they put into it.

Loser, just play the game. Why does everyone have to cheat. In Vice City I heard that if you cheated, it was impossible to get 100%. If you're so bad that you can't play the game without cheating, then don't play.

I find that games are more fun when they're challenging. Yeah I cheated in Vice City and GTA III but only after I reached a certain point or finished the game. It gets stupid easy if you can get out of everything, and I eventually get bored.

Wow. I was being sarcastic, so calm down cool guy.

Anyway, its easy enough to search the internet for that information. The game just came out, so it'll take a couple weeks before anyone really knows what all of the cheats and hints are. I'm sure people will post information from the guides all over the net, so just keep your eyes open. There's endless amounts of information about Vice City, including maps of all of the locations of hidden packages, real estate and the like. I'm sure with the immense size of San Andreas, the sites will contain all of that too. :thumbsup:
