Key Guard enables you to lock your side keys while the flip is closed.

menu > settings > others > Side Key Guard (scroll down a little more then half way.) please take note this is from a 4500 user so the pathway might e a little different.

The side keyguard is enabled by default on the 8200. Mine isn't... got tired of it. :)

No it's not ... the 8200 actually has an activatable (is that a word) flashlight ... while the phone is at its normal main screen and the flip closed ... disable keyguard if on ... then hold down the up or down volume button for a few seconds and the flashlight will activate for 9 seconds

You can actually have the flashlight with keyguard enabled too.
Hold down the keyguard button for about 4 seconds, then hold down one of the volume buttons for about 4 seconds. The light will come on for about 8 seconds. Then you can just press one of the volume buttons again for another 8 seconds of flashlight.
