I used to think the browser on the a680 was just quirky. Now after using various other phones including the new a700. I realize that the browser on the a680 is just awful.

I'm a samsung freak but I hated the a680- Id ask them for the 8200 (since you like sanyo) because the 8200 and 680 are the same price.

The browser issue sounds like the phone needs to be reprovisioned...call up SPCS
Also, what firmware version are you running....?

I have the a680 in my hand as I type, and I know that to get to the RTN screen it is ##786#. On the older phones it was ##786 OK.

It happens. Trust me, I have been using that browser since April, and after trying several other phones. The a680 browser is dreadful. Which is odd, because I never had any problems on it (the browser) with the a600/a620 stablemates.
