My brother has a nokia 3588i and he keeps on getting dropped calls and his buttons don't work sometimes. He even got it upgraded at a sprint store. He is now signed up for the lockline service and he wants a replacement phone. I don't think they will send another nokia 3588i. So does anyone have an idea on what they might give him, because he might not like the replacement phone they give him.

Yeah, the 3588i isn't that old...and I am sure, with the number that were sold, that they will have plenty of refurbs.

As for why people buy Nokia...no clue. They had such a good name in the beginning because they had a great market share. But as far as I am concerned, the sammy's and sanyos are just as good if not better.

It went from just looking "really, really bad" to "dropped calls and his buttons don't work sometimes". Interesting...

yes... **ATTENTION ALL LOCK LINE CLAIMANTS AND FUTURE CLAIMANTS** if they have the same phone, that's what you will get.

and i'm not going to preach about searching, because someone else will surely take care of that.

as for why nokia, cheap price, signal magnet, and relatively problem free for most folks. my wife swears by hers.

Cheap does not equal good, as for problem free... Um... I don't know about that... considering they have become the phone I see the most coming back with issues. Most call quality because well they suck

OK..no need to turn this thread into a phone-bashing thread.

i'm not saying nokias are categorically good, but i've had a few and they were all excellent. and i don't take the phone bashing personally anyway because, like, i don't care.

half the problem with these type of threads is that once the question is answered the thread should be done.

sorry I didn't mean to jump all over it... I will stop the bashing...

since like I love the nokia and love the txt on it. The easiest I have ever seen. Also the connection with the cable and the software, not like stupid futuredial that barelly works.
