What is your impresion of the new Motorola V180? I love Sprint but the idea of going with your own phone world wide is just awsome. I already have international dialing, but this thing is just awsome...

The V180 isn't that impressive, but it's not at all disappointing. My friend just got one and it seems like a good phone, except he might exchange his for the 220 so that he can have a camera. The other day we were playing around with motorola phonetools, pretty good stuff.

the v180? on the sprint network? I thought that the only motorola phone avail. was the V60v. ?

the question was about the phone and the OP knew it was not a Sprint phone.

my wife has the Motorola v400 quad band GSM phone and loves it.

The V180 and 220 are both junky phones. I'd spring for a V400 if anything. What's an insult is that Cingular is selling the 220 & V400 for a similar price!

V400 is a feature loaded phone...176x220 internal display, speaker phone, mp3 ringers, VGA camera, Quadband...

The V600 is even better;)

my sister went from an N400 to the V400 ("I decided to buy a new phone today...my old one started shutting off when I'd end a call") and she absolutly loves it..

geez, of course not, for cingular, I need 1 number around the world, not that I hate sprint, but just on the side, and no, I do not change the sim etc, since you use your own number...

v400 looks like a pad, lol, sorry i hate the way it looks, i like the a620 shape...
