Yep, same cable as all other Sanyo phones. No need to look for one that says 8200.

Make sure when you buy the cable, that it states "Charging USB/Serial Cable" on it or you'll just have a cable to connect to the computer with and not be charging at the same time.

Try someplace like Best Buy, Fry's or Circut City as they usually have the charging cable for not much more than what you would buy on ebay. That is if they are not cheap homemade cables. Beware of that!

Found one off a site called 123usb.net guys. They also gave me a lifetime exchange program that let's me ship back my old cable plus S&H for a new cable when I get a new phone. Is there any other kinda places that do this?

there is an article at www.fixup.net that shows you how to solder a diode into place
to convert your regular data cable to a charging one...

Just be careful, because there are many people on here who have written that they have friend their phones by using charging USB cables.

Your like that allot if someone doesn't do what you tell them or if they are not buying your cable. If ppl want to buy a chargeing cable and you tell them once that it MAY mess your phone up, and you are pretty much the only one saying that, and they buy it anyway leave them alone about it. When ever someone ask about a cable half the post are from you. and most of then are not saying anything usefull.

As for your phone getting messed up that is mostly happening if use the usb charger INSTEAD of the wall charger. I only plug mine into the usb to get on line. Sprint doesn't want me doing that so if I fry my phone I sure am not going to tell them I had it pluged into my compter with a aftermarket usb plug. I am going to tell them that it stopped working and me not knowing how they are going to give me a new or recon phone.

People can do what ever they want, I am just here to give advice. I am happy to leave people alone if they want to buy a charging cable. Please show me where I hound someone after they buy a charging cable? Half the post are from me anyway for lots of things. I stay very active in this forum, how about you? Incorrect, most of my post are helping people and giving factual information.

I am sure you would do that. It is dishonest.
