Sanyo 8200 Phone Info

I wanted to find out what verision and PRL I have. In the user guide for the 8200 it say go to "Settings", then Phone Info. Well when I go to Settings there isn't any menu screen saying "Phone Info". Even in the main menu no place saying "Phone Info". I guess the manual wasn't updated.

So could someone tell me how to get the info for the firmware verision and the PRL?

on my 8200 i go into settings (7) and then phone info (0) and then version (3)

I still don't see that on the 8200. My 8100 has that what you all been saying. I don't understand why the 8200 doesn't show the way the user guide said it.

Go to Settings, then scroll down one line, or hit the 0 key, because the option is on the next screen of the Settings option.

I was about to purchase the 8200 today. My samsung A660 burned up yesterday 1 month out of warranty, timebomb i think. After reading these comments with regards to the 8200 i will pass on it. In fact I am reconsidering my last year contract with sprint based o this phone failure. It appears to be cheaper to buyout the sprint contract and begin a new service than to buy a new phone.

I think this phone was great. I had it for a year it was awesome. I don't think it was a failure at all.
