I haven't been able to find any software that works with my Samsung SPH-A660 (Sprint Vi-660). I have tried the PCLink200 software on Samsung's website, but it is in Korean, also messed around with BitPim and no luck there either. I am completely stuck, I have a USB Data Cable with the proper drivers installed, and it is being recognized as a modem. Still no luck. I havent been able to find anything on P2P either. If anyone has a solution please let me know!
Otherwise let me know what the best place to get a new phone is. I need something cheap and small with a speakerphone, since I can barely ever hear the ringers on my A660.

SnapSYNC will work on your phone to transfer phone numbers and Sync with MS Outlook. There is no software anywhere that will allow you to transfer pictures or ring-tones with that phone.
We carry the SnapSYNC software on our website if you are interested.

Well that was the main reason for getting the data cable, what phone would you reccomend I upgrade to. I dont need anything with a camera, just something that is small, lightweight, and has a loud speakerphone.

I need to know your exact requirements in priority to recommend a phone to you.

1. Small
2. Lightweight
3. Speakerphone capability
4. Bright Keypad and screen (color is nice for the few games I play)
5. Long Battery Life
6. PC Connectivity (for transferring ringtones, applications, games, images, etc.)
7. Under $150.00

The price is going to be your only limitation. I do not know if you are eligible for the discounts or not. This is what I can recommend based on that criteria.
Your best bet would be the Toshiba VM 4050 however you can not transfer ring-tones or pictures but you can transfer over the phonebook.
To do everything you say below it needs to be a Sanyo but you will sacrifice the sound quality of the call. The earpiece on Sanyo’s are not good.

You can not have any upgrades until you fulfill your current term or sign to a new one. Thus, if you signed a 2 year contract there is no upgrade option for 2 years. If you are just month to month (you are paying the extra $10 per month to do so) then you can get a discount on a new phone if you choose to sign a new contract.

If you still have your A660, you should be able to get it working with BitPim. Here are some instructions: http://home.comcast.net/~jna03/a660/ .

I have the same phone: Samsung SPH a660 but I cannot get my computer to find the necessary software/drivers to recognize it. I downloaded DataPilot, thinking it was the answer, but no luck. I can't get my computer to use my Samsung to get on the internet. What am I doing wrong?
thanks
