I heard it's not as good as the vm4050 but close.
My question is what exactly is a minisd card? can i use regular sd cards with adapter?

No, mini SD are smaller than SD...You can use mini SD in a regular SD slot with an adapter...

From the looks of it, it has almost the same specs as the sanyo 5600 will have. If so, its going to be a tough decision come holiday time. I need to replace my vm4500 soon, hinge is cracked and all that other fun stuff. This phone looks sweet, but im not really an lg fan so ill have to wait for some reviews.

mini SD, looks nice, overall good phone everything i wanted.....i knew sprint has some good ones coming out, looks liek i may be selling a MM700 sooner than i though haha

Quite frankly, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the old 5350. A VERY bad taste.

So, I'll let the early adopters dive in first when this phone comes out. I'll check it out in the store, make sure the build quality is solid and that the earpiece is clear. I'll read a few reviews and then wait a bit to see what bugs (if any) pop up. If its all good after a few weeks, then this will more than likely be my next phone.

It's been a long time since I've been excited about a phone for SPCS!! The A700 just doesn't do it for me. Hopefully, the LG 535 fits the bill.

same here i thought the 5350 was a good phone....

back to the 535

ahhh mp3 player music to my ears lol...
was just about to get an ipod...
mini sd cards only go to 256mb right?
does any one know how much memory the phone will have?
hop it will have enough juice to last an hour ride to work and still make calls...

Well, I'm glad you guys had a better experience with that phone than I did. I went through three of them, all of them buggy.

I'm encouraged by their offerings for Verizon, so I hope this phone is a success and works the way it should. I really want to like this phone when it comes out.

hey when u guyz say this phoen is also an mp3 player... wouldn't this mean that first off the phone itself would have to have sum what a lot of storage unless they plan on having u play all the mp3s off your mini sd card? or how is it gonna work. cauz before i wanted a sanyo 5600. bu now this lg has caught my eye ;)

Where is the SD card slot? I looked at the pics on the FCC and I see no slot on either the 535 or the 325.

I am not a slider fan either but I really have no need for RL or the extra $150-200 it will cost me to get the 5600 since both phones have all that I want.

It doesn't have Bluetooth. Other than that, they are pretty even with features.

Remember those pics on hofo from a lg camera phone that was the same 1.2 or 1.3 megapixels? Anyway they looked excellent, much better than what the mm700 can do. This phone has EVERYTHING I have been looking for all in one device. Speakerphone, nice cam, mp3 player, mini sd slot, big nice screen...DAYUMM I gotta have it. By December MM700 = ebay :D .

I like the 535 just not sure about the size. It has to be bigger than the 608 right? I'm also thinking on selling my 700 now because I probally won't get as much for it when these new phones come out. I'll just have to get a cheap backup phone. What are mm700 selling for on ebay? I looked but just saw 700 chargers, don't use the site that much. I think I might get more money if I sell it to someone at work. What's a fair price for a 4 month old 700 in great condition? I hope the caller Id picture on the 535 is the whole screen and not shruken.

Does this phone use 2.5mm headset? if so...is there any 2.5mm earphones out for mp3 playback?? Listening mp3 with a headset which supports only one side will be aweful!!! :eyebrow:

You could find an adaptor. I'm not sure what size regular headphones are... but you could find an adaptor to bring it to 2.5mm

Its introducing the MiniSD slot, slider form factor and Mp3 ringers to Sprint. Plus a megapixel camera w/ video? It really won't surprise me to see it cost that much, although I realistically think it'll be $349. LG's for Sprint were always priced reasonably.

349.99 aint so bad. that's how much the Toshiba VM4050 and the Sanyo Vm4500 were priced @ Sprint a while back. I hope the price drops a little bit by March, cuz that's when my 18 months are up. =D

u kno on RL phones u can disable RL...
But, on top of that, i dont think it'll b RL capable
