I wish I could say something to you guys, but clearly I am way out of your guy's league when it comes to college football. I feel you are not fit to handle the amount of knowledge I contain. I will just say that OSU will not score 27 points (I am the biggest OSU fan on this site and I am saying that) and Iowa will not score 34. I can't pick a winner, because my heart says one thing while my gut is fighting to make a decision. But, I will have a score for you before game time and will most likely bless the readers of SU with it.

Heh heh heh......if OSU doesn't play any better than they did against my Wolfpack, they are in big trouble. It was pretty clear that aside from the Buckeyes' kicker, NCState was the better, albeit stupider, team. 137 yards OSU total offense vs 121 yards NCSU in penalties.....

Ohio State offense is going to explode. Zwick is going to hit his receivers that are wide open instead of under/over throwing. Ok maybe not 50 pts but they will score some pts. Didn't Ohio State set the college record last year for the most players 14 drafted to the NFL? There rebuilding this year. Tressel better get them to stop the turnovers and pentleys (sp). Northwestern played there best game ever against Ohio State. Ohio State played one half and still almosted one. The badgers had a good game plan and put a lot of presure on Zwick. As long as we beat michigan I'll be happy.

I didn't say they were mediocre, I said they were close to mediocre. There is a big difference. A few players made the difference those years and that is showing up big time now.

As for the flag in Tempe, I thought the PI call was terrible, but I think the Miami DB should have been flagged for holding instead. Which means OSU wins anyway. ;)

turns out the NYC Florida alumni watch their games a mere two blocks from where we watch ours. once the Hawks scored to go up 34-10, we made our way over there. never seen a more packed bar be more quiet. or at least, quiet until we walked in. hehe!

best part was, Florida players giving us no respect before the game, and somehow still talking right up until the end. it's as if they had been asleep as they were getting steamrolled by good old fashioned Big 10 football.

The game shoudn't have gone to overtime, Ohio State played to conservitive at the end and allowed Miami to tie. If I remember correctlly Miami had the ball 1st in goal at the 1 and coulndn't get in right?. If you can't get 1 yard on 4 downs you don't deserve to win.

Good point, the officiating was bad throughout the game. I think on OSU's final possession in regulation there was an obvious PI call that was missed on 3rd down. Would have given OSU a first down and the ability to run out the clock, OSU would have won in regulation without ever giving the ball back to Miami. Just goes to show that things usually even out in the end.

Yea hopefully he is. Just a matter of time untill he breaks out. It just helps when you can run the ball some so it sets up the pass. One of many of Ohio States issues is the running game but I think Pittman/Ross will have a good game today. How's the weather? If it's rainy I give the edge to Ohio State.

the best part of all of this is...

all the time the young Iowa offense gets on the field this year (and any success) only tranlates into a seasoned quick strike you-better-score-40-or-you'll-lose-to-us kind of offense next year. the future is bright, but we are not giving up on a Big 10 title this year! way to go Iowa!!!

Did you instagate anything? If you did it still doesn't give anyone the right to vandalise someones properity but sometimes you just got to know when to be quiet. A friend of a friend told me he went his high school and he thought he might be another Michael Vick someday. It's way to early to say that but dam he has a arm and some jukes. I like Zwick but I'm kind of hoping that Smith plays.

just got home from the Penn State game. well, it's a win. both defenses played very well, obviously, but beyond that Tate just had a bad game. missed open receivers regularly and made some poor choices when trying to throw the ball through the bellys of defensive linemen. but we are now 3-1 in the Big 10 and have knocked off Penn State 5 times in a row. not sure if any other school can say they have done that!

at illinois next week, who is as bad as Penn State. let me assure you the Hawk offense will be ready for that game (defense no worries), as to a man we all hate illinois and the team will be let down if we don't beat them by at least 30.

must now watch baseball in bed. got up at 3:15 to make the bus to unHappy Valley. hence, tired. good night all.

the only thing interesting is if osu run/passes up n down the field against penn state. that was sweet how we started throwing deep right away. whats sad is how over paid some pros are. teachers r just one of the many under paid jobs.
