Hi! I'am new to the forum so excuse my ignorance, but I'am thinking of getting the treo650 and wanted to know if it was digital dual band or tri-band/analog, i'am concerned about getting voice service in some areas of the country or will I have to carry another phone to get service where there is analog or does it matter. thanks for any info :)

The 650 (from what I know...as there hasnt been an official release yet) is dual band 800/1900 MHz but not tri-mode (ie. it does not have analog capabilities.)

The 600 didnt have analog either. So borrow a friends 600 and see where you do and dont have service.

The Treo 600 is 1900Mhz and 800Mhz Digital I believe...
