I have a Sanyo 5300....had it for about 14 months.
Just yesterday I went to open it, and it had lost its "click" / spring when you open it. Now its just kind of sad and broken. It still opens and stays open...its just that it has lost its gusto.
Anyway to fix this? Or is that just the price of repeated use?
I notice the thin battery doesn't hold a charge like it used to....and the reception itsn't as strong.
I got it at Costco...maybe I'll return it when my 18 months comes around, and get a new phone from there.
Anybody here had similar problems? Or do most people on the forum always replace their phones with the newest ones?

Never had that happen to me, seen it on some flip phones, where the spring could 'break'. Check your local (non-affiliate) Sprint store and see if they do repair services. Some folks are trained to fix it from my understanding.
