Any new news at all on the Daxian? Seems like we get all kinds of rumors, etc. about the new Treo 650; but don't hardly hear a murmur about the Daxian. Do we even know for sure that Sprint will be releasing the Daxian? I keep reading reviews about it and see where AT&T is getting ready to release it, but I sure wish I could hear more about it being released by Sprint. It has been a toss-up between the Daxian and the Treo 650 until I read recently that the Treo's camera is not being upgraded to any degree; now I'm very interested in the Daxian.

I spoke with a lady at tech support today and she indicated that the Treo 650 would not probably ship until Dec.. She indicated that the Daxian 6601 would be released this month (that is the one without the camera) forgot to ask her about price. I am afraid that I will not get my Treo 650 for a little while. I will probably have to order directly from PalmOne. Hope theyt give us a discount since I already have the Treo 600 (like Handspring did) Well the wait is almost over for most of us! Have a good day and God Bless!

They're probably going to be the same price. That's how it was with the Treo. You figure the components for the camera cost at most a penny or two :D
I'm guessing $649.

If it is on the device when you buy one it's not enabled as Sprint has not released EVDO. In the coming months will begin a SLOW rollout. EVDO will be in limited markets by the end of '05.

as far as user guides you could take a look at the FCC filing http://www.phonescoop.com, or you go look at the imate PDA2k I think it's called, there are a lot of people already using this phone so there must be something out there, other than that there is a dandy picture of the cover of the user guide that I just posted a couple of entries back :hee: . This should be a negative for the product line. People want to see a product widely used. Especially on a device at this price point, Do the different product have different spec’s?

they have been saying it's going to be available this week for a month and a half now - at this rate they might as well just release both versions - they are warping my fragile little mind
