I've seen several of you state you bought or own the Samsung MM A700 and it freezes up. Mine does the same thing sometimes, it will go to the large Sprint blue screen and the only way you can do anything is to take the battery off and restart it.
I called 1-800-samsung and guess what they told me? I was the first and only customer to let them know that the A700 freezes. I even had the tech person research his Samsung logs and he said "This is the first time we've heard about this problem with the MM A700."
If any of you own the Samsung MM A700 and it freezes, could you please call Samsung at 1-800-samsung and let them know that your phone is "freezing" up. The tech person said until they get more calls on it "it's just your phone" that has a problem. I know it's not "just my phone" because many of you have said your phone is doing the same thing.
Please let Samsung know if your MM A700 freezes so they will fix the problem.
Thanks,
So, it seems the A700 has a major glitch! This is not good for a $400 phone? Maybe a good reason to drop the price, subtract $10 for every bug found? Ummm!

Yeah, I'll call them later today. Mine really only freezes when I push it too hard. And by that I mean lots of downloading, deleting, playing, and listening.
Hahaha, I just had a though. I wonder if we need to defragment our phones! It works for my computer.

by this logic, most of the sprint phones would be free. and they could do away with the rebate program.

GREAT IDEA! SPCS would not go for it though! *kicks rocks*

Still worth it though. I only paid $200. for mine and you can get them for that now in CA. The phone is still a great phone but Samsung needs to get some bugs fixed.

I know, I've been a little lax when it comes to the constructive proactivity. I'll give 'em a call!

If you do call 1-800-Samsung and talk to tech support about your phone freezing, they'll ask you to reset your phone to factory settings. Don't do it, it doesn't stop the freezing problem, and you'll loose all of your calander entries. I learned it the hard way this morning after they had me reset it while I was on the phone with them. Now I have to try to remember months of calander entires.

the N400 was just a POS phone, but with the software updates on the one lockline sent my wife it solved those problems. I guess sprint puts their phones out faster than verizon and the result is some of em need software updates, etc.

I've had the 700 for awhile and it won't freeze. I wonder what causes this. I've you had your phones software upgraded or not. I 've not upgraded my phones software yet to the current version until they get all the bugs worked out. Ted some phones Sprint should pay us to use.

I am a tech for an afiliate of Sprint and I also own the A700 and I haven't seen that problem at all. Is it when you are turning it on/oof or what?
