The Nokia 3600 on the Suncom Un-Plan(Unlimited minutes $50/mo).

My GF needed a good phone as her old 2260 met an untimely death. We got it free with agreement. For being a non-Sprint phone, it actually rocks! GSM, Bluetoof, MMC card slot (16 meg included), VGA cam, etc. Was going to put her on my account, but as much as she talks, the unplan was a much better choice for her. Seeing this phone kinda makes me wish Sprint and Nokia would play together better in the sandbox. :)

Smokin! Nice grab. We have a local provider here in PA that has unlimited AT minutes for $39/mo + tax (so it's really $50), but you can only use the phone in 10 counties (can't even roam elsewhere) and long distance is 10c a minute. Since I travel alot and use half of my minutes to call long distance, it's not a viable option for me. But cool!

How did you get unlimited minutes for $50?
The SunCom unplan. Sort of like what Ted stated below, you are restricted to your local "region"(which is usually HUGE ie. my area is sw va ne tn all of sc and half of ga), but LD is free and you can add 50 off-region minutes for $5 ro 200mins for $10 for those times you need to leave your area.

And Ted, thanks for the kudos. Sorry I was messin with you soo much at first. Your actually pretty cool. :)

LOL... peace on SU.COM? That's not allowed!! :D

Not to bag, but I don't think I know many people who like that phone... but everyone's preference is different. And if people think Nokia should make more CDMA models of their GSM phones, let Nokia know that! I do it all the time when I go trade shows, and talk to them bout application development and handsets (Ngage for example).

Very good point about talking to Nokia. It just seems that the only phones that nokia wants to bring to Sprint are the bottom of the line, with very little features. Im glad to see that you try to persuade them in Sprints direction. I have sent an email, but honestly dont think it will do much good. They just dont seem too interested in CDMA.

It's all good. I have a lot of fun on here, and sometimes people don't know how to take me. Wish the "local area" of our provider here was that big, I would ditch sprint in a heartbeat for $50/unlimited minutes, especially if LD was included!

Congrats, but I really don't like that phone (yes, I have used it, and I still don't like it). When will Nokia just produce a normal looking and operating phone???

But hey, at least the start and end call keys are on the right sides. :)

Yea, I have heard lots of complaints about that phone, and agree that the key layout and Symbian OS are somewhat confusing. BUT! the Blootoof and MMC slot make it all better. :hee: Plus, its my GF's and for the moment she is totally encapsulated with the cam. Oh how the smallest things amuse some people.....
