Well, I mentioned a few days ago about my treo freezing when I open the cover and it being stuck on "Please Wait", but after closing it and opening it a few times it'd fix itself. Well, just now I was browsing the web and it froze on me for a second, then started downloading the page again. A few seconds later it froze again, now it won't do anything at all. It's just stuck saying "Receiving" and won't do anything at all... What should I do ? Time to call lockline ?

Reset it? If it happens again I'd try lockline. But be careful with lockine, two claims within 12 mos and ur cancelled.

Yeah, I keep having to reset it... I haven't made any claims yet.

Find out if you are under warranty. Even if you arent, dont waste calling lockline, go to the store first. Lockline is a last resort. Most people that call lockline and waste 35 dollars could just walk into the store, talk to a rep or a tech and walk out with a new phone and have one shipped at no cost at all to you.

The only problem is that the store closest to me has one ass of a Assistant Manager that IS ALWAYS there. I've been before to have my LG 5350 looked at and they refused, then went to exchange a brand new phone that was giving me errors, and had problem doing that. I'd much rather spend the 35 dollars to save myself the aggervation.

I'll call and ask what they'll send me. If it's another 300, I'll save my claim and just go buy it.

I thot it was normal for a Treo 300 to freeze all the time. Its annoying, but I just deal with it. It sounds like I could try the warranty route though.

Well, I haven't done anything (claim wise) about my Treo. It still continues to freeze and the only way to fix it is to push the reset button. It freezes when I open the flip, when I'm dialing numbers, when I'm using vision. Pretty much everything, it will be working fine for one minute then *BAM* it freezes.

I tried taking my phone in for the fatal exception error crud, but they couldn't duplicate it so no help from Sprint. I guess I gotta wait til I lock it up and bring it in again.

I'm getting really annoyed with it. A few more times with these errors and lockline will hear from me :D

Well I called Lockline and they have a new replacement policy I found out. If you signed up for Lockline before they switched over to the new deductible you will not be transitioned into the new plan until January 1st. This means I am inelidgible for the $10 warranty replacement, but I can still use the $35 deductible instead of the $50 one. Now I have to go to the Sprint store again and try to get them to see my phone is messing up and to get lockline from cancelling me.

Yep, it's not 50 for customers till Jan if you signed up before they changed...I'm getting ready to call and and see what kinda replacement I'm going to get.

Just made a claim... She said she placed the order for a treo 300. She said it would be NEW... What I don't understand is how, if that is what I get, will it be new ? They don't make the Treo 300 anymore do they ? (I know that Sprint stopped selling it)

I got a brand new Treo 300 kit as a replacement for an old Samsung I300, FWIW.

Maybe. There were reports of people getting 600's for 300's. I wonder if PalmOne shipped Sprint the last lot of 300's so they could clear out their warehouses.

Who knows, I don't think any of us could comprehend (sp) how these companies work/think. :D

If I get a new treo 300 I'll either sell it or send it back and just go buy a 600, or wait for the 650.

I got a new treo 300 from the Sprint store finally. I brought it in again and it failed diagnostic. They tried to order me a Samsung I330 because sprint doesn't show any available Treo 300's now. I argued and thought I might end up with a treo 600. The guy went in the back and found another treo 300 that someone didn't pick up. Oh well maybe this one will last another 6 months.
