yey. great info. truth to it? you know, i noticed there was an old KFC in tahoe that still hadn't changed their name. it still reads Kentucky Fried Chicken in script, with the old logo and all. you think they serve real chicken?

it must be a franchise, though i cannot imagine in todays health climate that KFC corp would not mandate you change the name to KFC...any Tahoe locals know the scoop?

if i had not found actual Tombstone pizzas at the store tonight (rare in NYC), i would have to go get chicken for dinner...perhaps lunch tomorrow???
west coast people - get back to work. ;)

Well, my cheese curds, cole slaw, fries, and zinger sandwich were great! A&W root beer to wash it down. Btw that article is so TRUE! A McDonald's here in Denver is being sued for people that ate there ended up with food poisoning!

of course, the food poisoning was most likely the result of some mis-cooked food, and not foreign animals slipping into the fryer. lol...eat at McD's often enough, an upset stomache is par for the course.

Resurrecting an old thread-
Put my vote is for Church's Chicken- we've got one across the street where I work :headbang2
Out here in L.A., we have a place called "Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles." Yeah it sounds weird, but it is awesome, with some reviews claiming it's the "Best fried chicken in the world" Me and my girl went to the one in Hollywood a few years ago, and had to wait in line outside for about 20 minutes to get in, but it was worth it. I ordered chicken without the waffles however. This is more of a restaraunt than fast food though. If you're ever in the area, check it out. It was started in the mid 70's by a guy who came from Harlem. And the collard greens... tripple yum.

Hehe, I went back and to find the silliest thread-
I've never heard of Roscoes, Church's is the best we got here in Texas...
Of course there's always Hartz's with the buffet as well... bring on the heart attacks.

You never heard of Roscoes cuz there's only about 4 of them, in the greater LA area only. I never had Church's, but my dad swore by that place, he lived in Irving, just outside of Dallas.

Ohhhhhhhh yeah. I dont trust KFC that much with their chicken anymore. One day I ordered a 6 piece chicken and there was a BIG HAIR BALL right in the middle of the breading and the chicken. The worst part is, they didnt even give me a refund! They said it was my hair and i blew up. " HOW THE HELL CAN THIS BE MY HAIR?? MY HAIR IS BLONDE, THAT HAIR IS BLACK!" and so... I only eat at popeyes for their chicken now :) Which tastes much much better.

I'm a KFC girl myself. Popeye's is too spicy for me, and I don't like Church's honey buttered biscuits.
