View Full Version : Sanyo 8200 Vol. Side Keys?!?

Okay, Its been 4 days since i received my Sanyo 8200 by the mail. My volume side keys arent functioning at all. Not as volume not even with the phone closed the sub lcd wont even light up at all if i press the up vol. or down vol. botton. All the other side keys, keys work good. At first both of my side volume keys worked fine, then the down one stopped working and just now the top one went out. I do not understand why this happened i havent dropped the phone or anything ive been very careful because i payed 250$ for the phone. Maybe something unprogrammed or something i dont know please help me thanks in advance.

bring it into store...if you have reciept and stuff they should be able to exchange it

Well, i got it off ebay, and i have gotten through many pictures already and through downloads etc. I would like maybe if there is something i can do myself to fix this or not? I can live without the keys but i would love to have them its convinient and real easy to use the side keys. Thanks though, anyone else got any suggestions?

well you shot yourself in the foot right there...if the phone was active on someone else's account, you can say good bye to your warranty...hope you have insurance

The phone was brand new, sealed in the box. No i do not have insurance, thats why i got this phone because my old a460's charging port broke and i have no insurance, heh. I mean i can live without those keys. I hope nothing else fails on me, wish me luck.

yeah...well if the phone was brand new, you might still have your warranty...it depends...

Bah, im stuck, what should i do? Should i just let that go, i really can live without it but still you know.

Take it to a sprint store and they should be able to tell you if it's under warranty or not.
