When is Sprint going to make Bejeweled and Prince of Persia for this phone? I love the phone but the games really stink. Anyone have a link or anything?
Thx in advance.

It's up to the games developers to make the necessary modifications to support the phone, not Sprint. So far, very few seem to find it worth the trouble to add support for a single phone. It's unfortunate as the 4050 is likely nearing end of life- without a single FW update!
I've had mine 7+ months now, and would have thought there would be more out there by now. Between the lack of vendor support and the Sprint induced browser limitations, I've decided to just enjoy the phone for what it does do very well.

I'm guessing when more phones come out with QVGA screens there will be more games. The 5600 will have a QVGA screen like the Toshibas, so there should be many games to come.
The current games/apps suck.

Its never gonna happen. They created the 4050 with a different processor than most other phones. To create a game would be to write it practically from the ground up. Sorta like wanting to put a Windows based game onto a Linux box or MAC.

There is no plan for anyone to fix the 35K cache limit for the browser. I have tried calling and emailing Toshiba, Audiovox and Sprint and they all point fingers at each other.

WOW!!! This is the first time I've read a thread that doesn't rave about how fantastic the phone is! I thought the phone was perfect in every way!
It does say something good about the phone that it never needed a firmware update.

As far as I am concerned, there are a few bugs that need to be fixed:
1. All the menu items are numbers 1, 2, 3, etc.. and in each sub-menu, they are numbered 1, 2, 3, etc... look at 5, there are no sub-menu numbers, so in essence, you cannot key "menu", "5", "3" to go directly to Screensavers, you have to use the arrow key to go down. Strange that they would leave that out.
2. Fantastic speakerphone...but you cant use it closed? Bad design flaw.
3. 35K internet cache issue...you cant go to alot of sites, and if you do you get "Insufficient memory..." errors causing the site to stop loading or lock up.
4. Almost all phones have cameras with flashes. You can set the flash to be off, on for a single pic, or on all the time so that you dont have to re-set the flash as on for every subsequent pic. On this phone, always on turns it on like a flashlight, then off for that pic and it has to be re-set again. Ridiculous.
5. You can set the T9 as default, but only on text messaging, nowhere else.
6. When you change between T9, ABC, etc... while typing on the web, when you change, the last choice drops to the bottom of the list. Try it, use T(, then switch to ABC, then type and switch back. The last choice is always scrolled to the bottom.
There are more, but Toshiba/Audiovox/Sprint says that they aren't bugs, that the phone was designed that way...idiots.
