Just spoke with a customer service rep and she gave me this information

on the new phones; Customer Service Pocket PC Phone, Treo 650 & Blackberry (late November, sure hope she is wrong) I had the Ipaq 6315 for two days but did not give it a workout. T-mobile does not allow access the the 850 signal in Pecos, Texas We will see about the new Treo; fantastic phone!

I believe the poster is referring to the i600. It runs the phone version of the OS with no touch screen. Verizon currently carries it if you want to see pics of it. They are also alleged to have a plethora of bugs that have yet to be addressed.

If I switched to PPC it would probably be with the Daxian/Audiovox/Harrier?/XDA device. I can't imagine the small physical and pixel dimensions of the i600 screen would be useful. I dumped the T600 cause of the lo-res screen despite the T600 screen being physically larger and capable of more pixel depth.

The 2032 is a POS, you didn't mention the Hitachi G1000 which is currently the best PPC phone Sprint offers, I've had one for a year and absolutely love it. It doesn't have WM2003 but PocketPC 2002 Phone edition still works just fine...

I thought they were referring to the I600, since I had heard that should be released on the 30th. it was already pushed back for 2 - 4 weeks.
I will wait for the daxian as well........ but when will that come out is the question?

Ok good sign, hopefully the Daxian will come out soon as well then, I like my G1000 but can't wait to check out the Daxian unit!

It should be out in a couple weeks. The cameraless 6601 will be available before the cam version.

So is the Samsung i500 the only PDAphone in Sprint's past, current, and near-future stable that is fully tri-mode (CDMA 1900, CDMA 800, and analog)?

(Except for the older Samsung i330 and the much older Kyocera QCP-6035.)
