You can't use shortmail if you have an SMS enabled phone. And don't worry, shortmail sucks compared to SMS anyway. It's worth paying the $5 extra to get unlimited sms if you like texting a lot.

Agreed 100%
Sprint only chargws $5 for unl...most carriers dont even OFFER unl, and charge $10 for 750 msgs.
I send/receive over 4000 a month...I'd be broke

You can use the link below to send Shortmail from your Vision browser or from your PC:
http://smwl.uc.sprintpcs.com/sml/login_x.do
Use your phone number and password just the same as you do when you log in to the sprint.com site.
Your incoming messages will still be delivered to your phone. The last time I used this system, it did not count against my 100 free messages. However, as we all know, things change in a blink, so use with caution or at least test it before mass use...
I'm also not sure if it works with all PC browsers. I use Safari on my Mac and it works flawless.

SprintUsers.com was created in January 2002 as a resource for users of Sprint PCS products and services to learn about and share information. We have cll phone reviews, Cellular Accessories, Downloads, PDA reviews, Ringtones, all of the latest Sprint PCS news and information, an area where you can find help in creating a ring tone or custom image for you phone, and so much more.
