Haven't heard much discussion on this phone lately. It's a slider with megapixel cam and supposedly has a memory card slot and MP3 support. Last I heard it was coming out in September and well, it's september so what's up.

probably because LG has a TERRIBLE track record with sprint and most users here know that. It would take a WHOLE LOT of great reviews for me to even think about buying an LG phone!!

The LG 5225 has gotten good reviews from several people on this board. I had it briefly and found the RF to be very good, the earpiece also good and the UI and screen quite good. I will give the new bluetooth LG a serious look and take advantage of the 14 day return policy.

lol....you mean for you and about 1% of sprint's actual customer base? man, for customers like that, you might as well leave now....QVGA screen isnt as important as you think...out of curiosity, how do you know that its the one feature everyone wants? I for 1 like it, but it wont make or break my choice in a cell phone.

You would be surprised how many people want normal phones...I see customers daily who tell me that they dont want all fancy camera phones and stuff....

I think the stupidest comment you can make is to say 5600 or bust for sprint...maybe for you, but for all the normal customers of sprint, who arent as tech-savy as us, its a god-send to see phones such as the VM4500, VM4050 or MM700 which all offer features very attractive to perspective buyers.

I still have nightmares about that phone and its problems...that being said, about the 5350...that was my 1st vision phone, being that the A500 was too expensive, and the 4900 was something i could mug someone with, and my flip still is in 1 piece...still got that phone sitting here. I wonder if it became weak due to pressure against the face while talking?

Hey, the LG1010 would make a good target, at the firing range! LOL! But LGs have had more issues than any other phone model! The 5225 may be the beginning of better quality phones from LG? I guess time will be the judge?

Is this true? The LG 5350 is the same as the vx8000? if so that is interesting and good news becasue that is one of verizons most anticipated new phones and just good that we are getting it too. Main think i know about the vx8000 is that it has the EV-DO, so does that mean Sprint will have this working with the release of this phone. the other thing i remembe that seems cool is that it has stereo speakers instead of just one little one. can someone verify this or link to some official specs of the lg 535? i get it mixed up with the slider one which i guess is the bt lg phone coming out around same time?

I had the 1010, and man mine sucked. First one was bad right out of the box. second was fine but dropped it and the antenna broke off. I loved my 5350 though. Never had a lick of trouble with it . It survived quite a bit of abuse, and in fact I still have it and it functions perfectly.

this post is about the 535 right? This is sprints version of the LG vx8000 from what i understand which they aren't getting until dec. I thought heard that both this lg and the bt lg slider are coming out for sprint in Oct./nov.

oringally they said like same time. i'm assuming that the bt slider is coming sooner. Nov. i hear now

This would be key for sprint to have EV-DO or whatever its called in place and release this phone before verizon.

Besides stereo speakers what else does this phone have that others currently out dont? it doesnt' seem that great to me in features or looks but i am curious about the EV-DO that i'm sure i keep spellling wrong.

Most important, is there a projected release date for the phone of this thread topic? and if so what is it?
