Does anyone know if the antenna from a Sanyo 7300, 5500, 5300 or a Sanyo 8100 will fit the Sanyo 8200? If any are interchangeable with my 8200? They all loook the same. I ask because I want to get a flashing antenna for when I am at work and I can only find them for the 7300 and the 8100 on eBay. If anyone has a combination of these phones can they try it for me and let me know? Thanks for any help! =)

Just came from the Sprint store. The 7300 does work, even though the antenna doesnt push down all the way enough to "click." Obviously they didnt have any 8100s in stock. The 5500 has the same antenna as the 7300. So I should be fine since the antenna on one of those flashers isnt long at all.
Thanks for your help! :D

Hmm...
I bought a flashing antenna for my 8100, but I can't seem to get the stupid oem one off. In the meantime I'm stuck looking at my baby phat flashing antenna instead of using it! :(

Yeah, they don't "guarantee" that they work with Sprint... Something to do with the freq or the signal or something like that. I'm not sure exactly.

The problem isn't finding one to fit the phone. The problem is the service, it doesn't always work with Sprint.

I went to the Sprint Store and they put it on for me. They were skeptical at first, but shocked when it started flashing as the tech called my phone!

I have two antennas for my 8100s. The baby phat one rarely flashes the other one a rose, flashes constantly. It flashes when Im on the web, making and receiving calls and when Im charging the phone and as I type. Looks like I'll be needing batteries soon! lol

How did they finally get it on at the sprint store...?
So you have purple led's to backlight your keys...? How the hell did you accomplish that...?

The Sprint Store had a tool and unscrewed the oem antenna out of the phone. Then they screwed in the flashing antenna, took about five minutes.
Yi, (chenyichung) did my LED conversion back in March. Here's a link.

i just got a new flashing antenna with my 5500 phone. i simply screwed it in, and called it and it flashed away. my only question is the new antenna does not have the long plastic piece to extend into the phone. will this take away from the phone reception?

I would imagine so. Can you post a pic or two of your newly modified phone?

Hi. I'm thinking about the new Sanyo 3100 and wondered if I could get a nice flashing antenna for it? Can you give me a link to buy a decent one?

they are getting them off ebay. search for it on ebay, or you could go to a kiosk at your local mall and you will probably find one there

Has anyone taken off the antenna off the 9000?
I've tried to unscrew mines, and yet its giving me a little resistance. I don't want to break it off. It wasn't that difficult to remove the antennas from my 7300, 5400 & 5500. Thanx
