Yes, things are doing ok. Still think there can be improvements in the relationship but Im sure this is too personal, currently working on it still. Dont see it going down thought so that is a good thing. Anyways, thanks much for the wallpapers. Sending them to her now.

I would like a light blue color scheme. Hello again, since the Miami Heat season is sadly over for a few months, I need a change for my phone.

I am looking for a Florida Marlin or Miami Dolphin Logo with the initials DAK on it. This is for a MM-7400 Phone. I do not care which one, even both would greatly be appreciated. Also, if you have any ideas for a front picture (for the square screen on the outside of the 7400 would also be greatly appreciated)

Side Note - The only change I made to the Miami Heat Logo was put the text back in all black.

I need a favor my friend just got a silver 8200. She said she hates the external screen and that she can never see it good with the sun shining and she can never tell who's calling. She isn't really into all the ringtones she basically uses the normal one. Her 2 months trial is over July 1st and I thought well maybe I can get her some good backgrounds with good font and color so when it pops up on here external she can see it better. So I am asking for 3 names and this is no hurry at all. She needs one that says Home one that says Sidi one that says Mark. I have 2 on my computer I can send to her phone. But these can just be names on a solid color background and nothing fancy. Or pick a girly design I don't care.. Just anything that will pop up on her external that she can see with big bold font and a good color for the font. Whatever you think will show up best.. I really appreciate it!!!

Good eye, DAKing. Sorry for not mentioning this before, but since I think since I'm the only one that has been filling requests, this thread should be put on hold starting now. I have been extremely caught up the past 3 weeks, and this past week I haven't even had access to my graphics program. I will only get busier as the next week or so comes along, but hopefully things will begin to slow down. If not, I may just give up my unofficial position as wallpaper maker here. There really are just way too many requests for me to handle, and I'm inclined to believe that many of the requests I fill go by unnoticed by the original requesters because they join and post in one day then forget all about the site the next. I'm also a little tired of putting hard work and time into it knowing the requester isn't giving something back... and I don't mean donations, but giving to the site in general. If you just joined to get your freebies and vanish, I'm less motivated to give you anything. I may just adopt a similar guideline to that of the Trading Post forum... I.E., you can't get anything unless you've been here for at least ehh 1-2 months and have at least a 50-100 post count. Something like that, to weed out or at least lessen the amount of moochers.

As of right now though, it's all on hiatus. I do plan to start a similar wallpaper request thing at another site that I can't mention here. It is a smaller, more tightly knit community, that way I can handle the workload and at the same time know that I'm doing it for active members of the community.

Everyone can continue to request with the distant, distant hope that someone will pick up the slack and fill them, but as for me, it may be a while.

Unfortunately I'm as busy as flip and I'm not seeing much promise for the near future if at all with regard to being available for making wallpapers. I enjoy doing it for everybody but real life does rear its ugly head. Full-time school and work and kids and (insert other real life stuff here) just sucks you out of a fun community like this on occasion.

I'll be back to do some when and if I get a chance; might just have to keep going like I have been with one or two every couple of weeks, if that. I'm sorry if that inconveniences anyone; I hope that more people will jump in and start taking requests and building wallpapers.

Also, did you try the focus tool to upload the picture? If that doesn't work, I will gladly resize it for you.

I think it will resize them, but they'll probably lose a lot in quality and they might get cropped a little (though I doubt that, since it will have to make them larger for the 8300). I know it's a pain, but it would probably be best to remake them in the proper size, if you have the time, patience and resources.

I use Photoshop for it. With the one I just did for you, I actually recreated the image from scratch with the same image sources, re-sized appropriately. There wasn't really a way to take the mobile wallpapers and turn them into the size you needed; it pixelated the image and cut out a lot of the graphics.

If you have Photoshop, I can walk you through it if you'd like. If not, what programs do you have? Might be able to help you there, too.

I have been testing Fireworks for every image made on here. I had some problems with it, which is why some images may have been kinda rough on some parts. I am going to try and get Photoshop back on here to improve my work.

Wow. On my end, it says it's 48KB. But maybe once in the PSP, it changes stuff. I dunno 'cause I don't have one. *pout*

Yeah I know. On my end, it's less than half that size! If it were really 164 or 168, I wouldn't be able to attach it to this post. Limit for attachments here is 48.8KB.

I decreased the quality even more. It's now 38KB on my end. See if it works this time! LOL... mystery.

EDIT: I just right-clicked on the image below and saved it to my desktop. Saved at a size 38/40. Tested the others I had posted, and I got the same sizes as the originals on my hard drive. This is really, really weird!

I have over 20 backgrounds on my 8200 and one is an animated thing that it goes into when on standy or seraching for service. I hope once I get the 8300 here soon that I can just go to Sprint Focus and it resizes them right. I do have a couple though one that I know of that says PM8200 in the corner so I may want that one changed to say MM8300.. Will See!! I can't wait for the 8300 to come out!! Rose

It says the 8300 will be 176x220.. I like the single color one the best the all pink and maybe you could make one all purple instead or the multi color one but do pink and purple both and maybe add teal green. Oh crap. I didn't realize it reset it to 32 when I changed the color profile. Unfortunately, I am not coming up with a way to do this for you. Everytime I change it to 24-bit, it saves as 165KB and I don't think there is anything I can do to change that. My luck, there is probably a really simple way and I'm just thinking too hard.

I promise I will keep trying. Sorry this has been such a hassle. Sucks that it needs a .bmp file, though. They're so biiiiig.

Unfortunately, the source file I made for the first one isn't so easy to colorize. The original was in grayscale and the quality wasn't all that hot. The one I used for the one I just did was super-easy. I had tried with the original picture, but it wasn't coming out at all. And I can't just tint it because it tints the wheels and everything, too, and looks really cheesy. :p

Sorry ): If you can find a picture in the color you like, I can try cropping and slanting it. But I'm coming up empty. I'm sure it's possible, but I'm a busy gal, so I don't have as much time to dedicate to it as I would like. Stupid jobs. :(

How's this? The only thing about putting two cars in there is that they had to be much smaller. Let me know if this works for ya.

Personally, as a Miami Heat Fan, I would take just the Heat logo as one background, and then use the Z as a seperate. Having both, not only causes a lot of work for the person making it, but it also looks cleaner and cooler seperately.

These aren't really "bad ass." These are the only ones I have that won't violate any copyrights. The others I have that are more... well, not so boring and plain, I've checked the rights I've purchased and I can't redistribute them. So here are these for now. If you can be more specific about the "bad ass" part, I can try to whip up something in between meetings.

Uh, these are also sized for my current phone (176x220). I don't have the PSD files on this computer, so IF you even like any of them, let me know which ones (or all, no biggie) and when I get home I will resize them properly for your phone so they don't lose any quality.

I actually made this one on vacation once. I was trying to enjoy myself, you know, as vacations are meant to do; but I kept getting calls from people at work. So, I made a wallpaper for my phone to resemble what that's like.

When I'm not on vacation, my phone displays a wallpaper of a toilet and makes a flushing sound for a ringer when people in my work group call me. :cool:

I'm pretty obsessed with wallpapers. I have a massive vault of them... it's just spread throughout six different computers.

thanx Daking, one thing... do u think you can put the streetsign in the foreground some how? so its more visible? id appreciate it.

NOW i have figured out the hard way that for a screensaver to completely fit on the Sanyo MM-5600 you have to resize it to 240X290 because of that bar at the bottom it will cut off. When you set it as a screensaver you then have to scroll it all the way up to the top and it will fit perfectly. For those who were wondering....

Can someone help me? I have this animated gif someone made for me on here.. I used it as my standby and I just got the 8300 and it wont work it says I need some type of plugin and the it says click here to get and just takes me to some vision page that has ringers and screensavers. Rose

You know what I apologize but I was going through my folder on my pc stuff for phone and I found a file Roses Slide Show and it said PMD I already had this in PMD and didn't know it since I saw the gif file 1st. I am sorry but can it still be sized different? Would you know why this Ms. Pacman game I bought that played on my 8200 won't play on my 8300? Says version not suported. Are the games on MM phones a differen't format. Sprint said they can credit me cause that is a game that stays in your content manager. Thanks, Rose

Regarding the animated screen saver, it CAN be done. I did it with the first frame just to see how it looks and it loses a lot of quality going to a larger version (gets very pixelated). So, if quality isn't that important to you, let me know and I will work on it as I'm able.

Regarding the Pac Man game, you're probably having the same problem I am: they've moved Ms. Pac Man over to a monthly subscription. I used to have it on my 8920, too, and when I switched to the 535 I tried to download it and got the same message. So I hopped online and browsed the Games catalog and saw that they now charge some kinda crazy amount/month to play Ms. Pac Man.

Try **********.com--I got the regular, non-monthly charge version there. Worked great for me. If you don't already have an account, you may need to sign up first.

Thanks for your help!! Actaully it looks good not covering the whole screen you see it better so that's cool I'll leave it... I do wish someone could just cahnge 5 or 6 ringers to AAC for me but I know that takes time. I asked in the ringers section but your only aloud one and I think there only doing QCP. But here is something I would like though an animated avatar for here to use one maybe with my silver 8300 and it can say Rose on it and maybe have a pink face plate.. I have one now for my 8200 here it is but something new and fancy to use for my avartar here would be great. I bought the silver 8300 with 3 extra plates Light and Dark Pink and Dark Purple but it can be all silver if you can't make a colored plate on it. But somewhere in it if it cansay 8300 or Rose or both... Thanks, Rose

I was working on this for you between work-related projects and then my coworker decided to screw with some settings on my comp while I was at lunch and turn it into a Goliath-sized paperweight. Nothing is recoverable, but I will do my best to get the programs back on my temporary comp (a POS laptop) and work on this again for you. I was making some okay progress and had gotten hung up with the pink faceplate part, but I might be able to work through it.

I have a question can these be made into a file that will play on my 8300 which is the screen size of the 7400 176 x 220 I think it is. They would make cool screensavers for my phone. Also and this is no big deal but I was wondering the one I attached here that says SuzyQ can be size for my 8300. I had it for my 8200 and when I went to size it on Focus it doesn't fit my whole screen the S and Q are so big they get cut off... I would like one like that for me also that says Incoming Call For Rose or Roses Phone in Purple or pink. Or This Phone belongs to Rose naw thats too much text. How about Roses Phone then in the corner somewhere at the top MM8300 that would be cool!!
